Our very own Lion David came across a story about a boy named Everett in the St. Catharines Standard a couple weeks ago. Everett and his family started a gofundme to save up for an elevator lift in their family home. Touched by their story, we at the Port Dalhousie Lions Club decided to donate $1000 dollars to help. Pictured here is Lion David and Lion Chief Andre giving the cheque towards the lift for Everett. Everett’s dad, Tyler, accepted for him. Thank you to our MPP Jennie Stevens for hosting us.
