Summer Smiles camps can become invaluable experiences that children and youth remember forever. Camps allow children and youth to learn new things – about nature and the environment, about our world and about themselves. Camps give them a chance to develop social skills and leadership abilities, to try a new sport, and to boost their self-confidence. More importantly, camps give them a chance to just be themselves.
The FACS (Family and Children’s Services) Foundation sends up to 400 Niagara kids to Summer Camp throughout the summer. Through our $1,000 donation, the Port Dahousie Lions Club is able to fund 4 children receiving a full week at camp through the Summer Smiles program!
