Lion Dennis stopped by to present a plaque to Garden City Home Hardware Building Centre manager Jennifer today to thank them for their partnership and for donating the proceeds of their Christmas Tree sale this past December. It is partnerships like we have with Garden City Home Hardware throughout our community that enable the Port Dalhousie Lions Club to continue to make a huge impact to important causes in our local community. Join the Port Dalhousie Beautification and Works Committee for their Annual Candlelight Stroll on Saturday December 6. Gather at St. John’s Church at 80 Main Street with candle sales starting at 5:30pm and the stroll starting at 6:15pm. See you there!

As our membership continues to grow, we were thrilled to induct new member Lion Mike to the Port Dalhousie Lions Club on June 10! Mike has been with us as a guest for several months and you would have seen him actively supporting our events such as Trivia Night and our Spaghetti Nights. Welcome Mike!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Port Dalhousie Lions BBQ at the Kids Ultimate Challenge today at Burgoyne Woods in support of the Niagara Health Foundation! Once again, we saw some very excited and hungry kids pack the park to test their skills against the challenge course… and of course for some great burgers and hot dogs from the Lions! And once again… we sold out! All proceeds will be donated to the Niagara Health Foundation to support children’s care in Niagara!

The Lions Club was thrilled to be able to enter two foursomes in the annual Hospice Niagara Golf Tournament for 2025. While we didn’t see any trophies come back to the club, we had a great time supporting a fantastic cause!
