How can we make your summer better? How does $10,000 sound? The Port Dalhousie Lions Club is excited to launch our $10,000 50/50 Raffle for the 2024 Summer Season! The first tickets will be available for sale on Wednesday May 1 at our Spaghetti Night and they will be available for purchase at all Lions events throughout the summer as well as all of the Tuesday Night Supper Market events in Lakeside Park! The BIG draw for the grand prize of up to $10,000 will happen on Sunday September 1 LIVE at our Labour Day Celebration Event! Actual prize will be 50% of actual ticket sales. There are 4,000 tickets available for sale for $5 each. Tickets are cash only and must be purchased in person at one of the Lions Club Events or directly from a Lions Club member.
Coldest Night of the Year Results
The Port Dalhousie Lions Club was a major sponsor of this year’s Coldest Night of the Year campaign supporting Start Me Up Niagara in St. Catharines. We are proud that our support helped Start Me Up Niagara raise over $168,000 this year! We were thrilled to be able to welcome Laura (Executive Director) and Samantha (Communications Liaison) to join us at our regular dinner meeting on Tuesday March 26 to share more information about the great work they do and how this money is used in our community. This Saturday we enjoyed hosting Shawn McCart and Name This Tune Trivia for an incredible night of fun! The event was a complete sell out thanks to our incredible community! Thank You Garden City Home Hardware
The Port Dalhousie Lions Club would like to extend our thanks to Dennis and the Garden City Home Hardware (Fourth Ave) team for supporting us this Christmas season! In December, Home Hardware sold their pre-cut Christmas trees and donated the proceeds to the Port Dalhousie Lions Club to help support the work we do in the community. Labour Day Celebration 2023
We were thrilled to welcome the neighbourhood to the Lions Club on September 3, 2023 to enjoy a day of great music, great food, community fun, and new friends! Canada Day BBQ
Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Port Dalhousie Lions Club during our Canada Day BBQ at Lakeside Park! It was an amazing event and we were thrilled to meet so many great people celebrating Canada’s Birthday! We gave out an entire freezer of freezies to kids, and served up over 1000 hamburgers and hot dogs! Your support makes our work at the Lions Club possible. Thank you!
